18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
The words of Jesus in the Great Commission have fueled the spread of Christianity across the world. They remain the reason the Bible continues to transform lives today — because faithful disciples have chosen to take them seriously.
Sadly, in many places the mission Jesus gave us has been forgotten, de-prioritized, or misunderstood. We want to change that.
At Teach to Obey, our passion is to restore the Great Commission to the center of the church’s mission. We equip churches, leaders, and everyday Christians with practical tools, teaching, and resources to make obedient disciples — reaching the lost and helping new believers live faithful lives.
We exist to help the church teach to obey.

A Need for Teach To Obey
I grew up in the small country churches of Fleming County, Kentucky. From an early age, God gave me a strong desire to serve in ministry, and for the past ten years, I’ve had the privilege of working in local churches in various roles.
My heart is for rural Kentucky. I long to see small-town churches revived through sound theology, practical discipleship, and gospel-centered mission.
I also recognize that the future of these churches often depends on bivocational ministers — but small churches shouldn’t have to settle for weak theology or shallow ministry. Our communities need life-giving discipleship now more than ever.
That’s why I started Teach to Obey — to equip rural churches and leaders with resources that bring life, health, and restoration to God’s people.
Why the Restoration Movement?
Our movement began on the frontier with a simple but powerful plea: to unite Christians under the truth of God’s Word for the evangelization of the world. It was an innovative call — rooted in Jesus’ own prayer in the garden before His crucifixion.
Leaders like Barton Stone, the Campbells, “Raccoon” John Smith, and Walter Scott pursued this vision with grit and conviction. I believe their dream is needed now more than ever.
Much of today’s church has drifted — chasing worldly methods for growth that often prove hollow and empty. It’s time to restore the church to what Jesus intended when He commissioned us: making disciples grounded in the Word, empowered by the Spirit, for the sake of the gospel.
